The President is scheduled to speak tonight at 9 pm and everyone is speculating about what he’s going to say. The administration has been very tight lipped about the topic. General speculation is that he’s going to explain where we are and what are goals are, regarding the Iran War. Followers of the No Kings rallies will say that they were a success. But were they…. really? The most prominent flags flown were the Soviet hammer and sickle, the Palestinian flag, the LGBTQ flag and the Mexican flags. American flags were flown…upside down. Has Congress become totally dysfunctional? The Senate passed a weak DHS bill and the House told them that it was totally unacceptable. So they passed something with less compromises…but one that the Senate won’t pass. So what good is that? In the meantime the President signed an executive order to pay the TSA workers…which is great…but how about the Coast Guard? They’re still not getting paid. We’ve been fighting this war in Iran for three weeks, yet the media is referring to it as another “long drawn out war”. The Afghan war was 20 years…but they never complained then. What’s different? Trump puts a five day pause on the power plant bombings with the hope of a peace negotiation. Now all eyes are on the new Friday deadline. But no soon as the negotiation announcement is made, someone who claims to be running Iran said that there are no talks and it’s all ‘fake news’. So the question now is…who’s running Iran. Does the left hand know what the right hand is doing. The week has started off with a bang. There was a terrible plane accident in New York City at the legendary LaGuardia Airport. An unauthorized incursion on to an active runway resulted in a deadly collision between an Air France jet and a fire truck. The two Air France pilots were killed and numerous passengers were injured. And we’re approaching a major deadline in the Middle East that could change the entire Iran War.
