The Colorado Supreme Court seems to have gone a step too far…ruling Trump ineligible to be on the 2024 Presidential election ballot in that state. This 4-3 ruling makes Trump the first presidential candidate in U.S. history to be deemed ineligible for the White House under a rarely used provision of the U.S. Constitution that bars officials who have engaged in “insurrection and rebellion” from holding office…neither of which President Trump has been convicted of. Their ruling seems to be based on…vapor. We talk about this decision and more on today’s busy program.

Welcome to the Tuesday edition of “It’s Another Day with Jim and Bill”. One of our country’s biggest companies…US Steel… is being sold to a Japanese steel maker for 15 billion dollars…cash. It’s a big sale and the money looks real good, but should foreign businesses be allowed to buy a critical American steel manufacturer like US Steel? Are we shooting ourselves in the foot? Will this come back to haunt us somewhere down the road? And the border story gets worse by the day. Thousands are crossing across our unprotected southern border, with no push-back. Welcome to the Monday edition of “It’s Another Day with Jim and Bill”. Last week we marked the second anniversary of our show and today is the 500th episode. Thank you for making the show the success that it is.  Today is another busy program.  President Trump continues to draw enormous crowds. He packed them into venues in Nevada this past weekend and he didn’t hold back on his opinion of Biden and the job that he’s doing either. It’s becoming more and more apparent that he will be the Republican standard bearer and he’s starting to sound more and more like the position is his. And did you hear about the major chemical leak in Texas? On the one hand they say there’s nothing to worry about but on the other, they’re telling residents to shelter in place and make sure your windows and doors are all sealed. What’s that all about? Welcome to the Weekend Edition of “It’s Another Day with Jim and Bill”. Yesterday conservative Speaker of the House Mike Johnson was spotted, in a Capital stairwell, having, what appeared to be, a serious conversation with known Trump hater and devout RINO Paul Ryan. And Ryan’s position on the former President was reaffirmed yesterday with an audio clip from an interview he did this week where he tore into the 45th President of the United States. And he extolled the virtues of Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, two unabashed Trump haters. So the question is, are we being played again? Have we been told that Mike Johnson, a stranger to most of us until his assent to the Speaker position, is a staunch conservation…but really isn’t?  It’s a busy program and we’re glad you’re here. Tuesday Jim watched the new Obama produced…Netflix film entitled“Leave The World Behind” and he let you know what he thought of it on yesterday’s podcast. Yesterday Bill watched the film. On today’s program, we find out if Bill concurs. No matter what you think about the film, you can bet that it’s benefiting from all the talk and discussion. Welcome to the Wednesday edition of “It’s Another Day with Jim and Bill”. I saw the early reviews on the new Netflix film “Leave the World Behind” and most were either mixed confusion or negative altogether. Well…I had a chance to watch the Obama-produced film, which is about the end of our country as we know it, due to the destruction of our internet infrastructure. It had a good cast and decent special effects…but what it didn’t have…and it needed…was a good script. It would introduce subplots…some of which would pique your interest…but never revisit them.  And, of course, who was the real villain of this story-why the good old USA, of course. Oh…and white people. But odds are you’ll probably watch this waste of celluloid (not really-they actually rarely shoot on film anymore) and you’ll see that I’m not making this up. It really is a waste of two good hours. And then there’s the Ukraine War, Zelensky’s visit, and the continuing crisis on our border. We talk about it all on today’s program. The film entitled ‘Leave The World Behind” is available on Netflix, and it warns that white people can not be trusted if the world faces an apocalypse disaster. Is this entertainment or propaganda in its purest form? And the latest CNN poll has some bad news for the ‘Biden Camp’. We talk about this and much more on a very busy Tuesday program. This past weekend, President Trump spoke about the indictments, at the New York Young Republicans Club’s 111th annual gala, and he cautioned President Biden to “be careful for what you wish for”. He said, "You’ve opened up a Pandora’s Box that will never let our country be the same.” Have you wondered how President Trump can face all that he’s facing and still keep a smile and a sense of humor? The stress would cripple most people. Not him. He seems only to get stronger…and his polling reflects this. And during his speech, he does his rendition of “The Snake”.
