Welcome to the Weekend Edition of “It’s Another Day with Jim and Bill”.  Did you hear about the tanker car that blew up in Nebraska? It was parked in a rail yard in North Platte. They have no idea what caused the explosion. You have to ask yourself, how many parked tanker cars explode for no good reason? What was in it? How about a key rocket fuel ingredient…perchloric acid. They immediately evacuated an area of four square miles. This should have been a major news story. We’re talking about another East Palestine Ohio situation. But did you hear about it? Probably not. Welcome to the Thursday edition of “It’s Another Day with Jim and Bill”. It’s been less than two months since the Maui disaster. They will be recovering for years to come. Some, who lost loved ones, will never completely recover. Most residents are living day to day. They have nothing. Yet Oprah went on the CBS morning television program and complained that she was a victim. People were saying nasty things about her on the internet. She started a non-profit and is soliciting money from people like you and me. Yet…she’s worth three or four billion dollars. You would think that she would be contributing a substantial donation herself…something in the multi-millions…but there’s no talk of that. Why? She’s got more than she’ll ever need and they’re her neighbors?  We talk about this and much more on today’s program.

Welcome to the Wednesday edition of “It’s Another Day with Jim and Bill”. The big news yesterday was Speaker McCarthy’s relatively low-key announcement of the launching of an impeachment inquiry. But…for months James Comer has been running an investigation of the Bidens and tons of stuff has been uncovered and reported. So…isn’t this new hearing a bit redundant? Do we need to waste time with a hearing on the hearing? And what’s after that? Another hearing? Representative Matt Gaetz is having none of it. He took to the floor of the House and tore into McCarthy and his foot-dragging. He even threatened the Speaker with a ‘vote to vacate’. Welcome to the Tuesday edition of “It’s Another Day with Jim and Bill”. Yesterday our President decided that the place to commemorate the tragedy of 9-11 was Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage Alaska…not Shanksville, PA, Ground Zero in New York City, or the Pentagon in Washington DC. And…once again…he couldn’t help injecting himself into the story. He told the captive audience of military personnel that he remembered visiting the site of the destruction in New York the day after the attack. The problem is, that he was on the floor of the Senate the day after the attack. He was nowhere near New York City. We have the audio proof. But this man can’t help himself. Welcome to the Monday edition of “It’s Another Day with Jim and Bill”. Today is September 11th.  It’s one of the saddest days in American history. So, what is our country doing to commemorate this tragic day? Why…we’re planning on sending 6 billion dollars to the Iranians in the form of unfrozen Iranian funds, wired to banks in Qatar. Why? Have relations improved to a point where such an action would be justified? The answer…no. They’re still working on their nuclear weapons. They still refer to us publicly as “The Great Satan.” They still talk of sending nuclear missiles to places like New York City. Nothing has changed. So why are we doing this? Why are WE capitulating? But potential Congressional assassins, who have pleaded guilty in court, are getting 3 month sentences. It’s hard to explain the logic behind this because…there is none. Welcome to the Thursday edition of “It’s Another Day with Jim and Bill”. There’s a movement underway to keep President Trump off the 2024 ballot in a number of states. The effort in Florida was already thrown out of court but that hasn’t stopped the opposition. There’s a term called ‘flooding the zone’ which means overwhelming the opposition with as much nonsense as possible so that it becomes impossible to defend yourself. That seems to be what the ‘other side’ is attempting to do. If you can’t beat him…eliminate him. Can Trump handle this? It’s a daunting task…but if anyone can, it would be Donald Trump. It’s been said that he thinks ‘five moves in advance’. If that’s the case then none of this should surprise the former President. One thing’s for sure. We’re living in interesting times. Welcome to the Wednesday edition of “It’s Another Day with Jim and Bill”. The outgoing Ukrainian Defense Minister said yesterday that the US is spending more in one day, supporting the disastrous Ukrainian War than we are giving in aid to Maui. Hundreds of Americans are still missing there and the rebuild is going to take quite some time. And then there’s East Palestine Ohio…Biden says he’s been too busy to get there. He has, however, managed to visit his Delaware beach home numerous times, never mind other vacation hot spots. Does any of this make sense to you? Welcome to the Tuesday edition of “It’s Another Day with Jim and Bill”. You really can’t trust everything you see these days. Case in point. Over the weekend, a video of Presidential candidate Ron DeSantis appeared online. For all intents and purposes…it was him sitting at a desk…looking into the camera…making a very ‘real’ statement. He said some amazing things. But was it real?  We can only play the audio…but even that alone…will blow you away.
