Welcome to the Friday edition of “It’s Another Day with Jim and Bill”. Last night, seemingly out of nowhere, the Justice Department filed 9 new criminal charges against Hunter Biden for tax evasion. It could land him in jail for up to 17 years. What’s interesting is the charges were filed in California. Why California? Why not DC where AG Garland and the Special Prosecutor reside? Have those who are really in charge decided that its time for Joe to go?  You know that if Hunter loses, he’s going to bring Joe down with him. The two are joined at the hip. Hunter had nothing to sell without his connection to Joe. And word is, those RINOs in Congress who were hesitant about voting for the Biden Impeachment Inquiry will now feel more inclined to vote with the more loyal Republican members. Welcome to the Thursday edition of “It’s Another Day with Jim and Bill”. Yesterday, former Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy announced that he was leaving Congress at the end of the year, thus reducing the majority yet again. Just last week the Republicans' slim four-vote majority shrank by 25% when they voted to oust New York Congressman George Santos. Now…with McCarthy leaving their majority will be paper thin…just two measly votes…something that can disappear in a light breeze. The Republicans seem to be doing what they do best…seizing defeat from the jaws of victory. If McCarthy was trying to ‘help the people’ and ‘the party’, why is he leaving so abruptly? Why didn’t he wait until the end of his term? Or is he simply being vindictive? From our vantage point, it appears to be the latter. We talk about this and much more on a very busy program. Welcome to the Wednesday edition of “It’s Another Day with Jim and Bill”. On Tuesday the House Education Committee invited the leaders of MIT, Harvard, and Penn to testify in front of Congress. Rep. Elise Stefanik asked the educators if calling for the genocide of Jews violates the code of conduct on their campuses. Presidents of the University of Pennsylvania, Harvard, and MIT could not definitively agree with that statement.   MIT dean Liz Magill suggested it was not a violation unless it led to actual genocide. What is happening to our society? Have they never heard of the Holocaust? Were they never taught of the atrocities performed at places such as Auschwitz, Bergen-Belsan and the other Nazi death camps? Welcome to the Tuesday edition of “It’s Another Day with Jim and Bill”. This may come as a shock to you…it did to us…but yesterday alone, 10,000 strangers crossed into our country via the totally unprotected southern border. And those are the people we caught. Were they all neighbors looking for a better life? Maybe if you include China, Iran and the Ukraine as neighbors. You have to wonder how large numbers of military age Chinese men are getting to our border and just walking across. And then you have to wonder…are they here for a better life…or is there a more sinister plan? What we do know is our government is betraying us. They’re charged with protecting the American public and they’re not doing that. Just a few days ago, White House spokesman John Kirby admitted that terrorists are probably already in our country. He said it in a ‘matter-of-fact’ way as if it’s the new norm and we should get used to it. This has to stop, or they’ll be no fixing this problem any time soon. Welcome to the “It’s Another Day With Jim And Bill” WEEKEND UPDATE. While campaigning in Iowa this week, a former FBI Agent and his wife warned Vivek Ramaswamy that he may be in danger and it would be smart to protect himself with strong security and some talented intelligence people.  Ramaswamy looked legitimately concerned and he appeared to be taking the warning seriously. The suggestion came from a supporter who was a retired agent and claimed to have a background in ‘SWAT and Intelligence’. He was with his wife who also appeared to be knowledgeable of the threat. Welcome to the Weekend Edition of “It’s Another Day with Jim and Bill”. Secretary of State Blinken visited Israel and during his final press conference of the visit, he expressed a change in US support. He said that Israel no longer had the ‘credit’ for an all-out, no-holds-barred war. Now…the US expected certain limitations. This is from the same administration that botched the Afghan war and got us into the quagmire, in the Ukraine. So…what was Israel’s answer to this change in political support? Shortly after Blinken’s plane exited Israeli airspace, the ceasefire was over and it was business as usual for the Israeli army. It would appear the the Israelis will not be bullied or intimidated. Welcome to the Thursday edition of “It’s Another Day with Jim and Bill”. It was a beautiful, sunny Thursday morning in Jerusalem. There was the normal traffic congestion and commuters waited patiently at the local bus stop for their transportation to take them to work. Everything was ‘routine’ until the unexpected sounds of automatic weapons gunfire. Suddenly, people at the bus stop dropped to the ground or ran away. It was a scene of panic and pandemonium. The shooters, to their surprise, were confronted by armed civilians who returned fire and ultimately killed them…but not before innocent unarmed people were either killed or wounded. This Hamas attack happened during an extended ceasefire. Critics of the ceasefire believe that it’s giving Hamas a chance to resupply and regroup. And then…there’s the terrorist attacks. Welcome to the Wednesday edition of “It’s Another Day with Jim and Bill”. Television contributor and esteemed professor and lecturer Doctor Victor Davis Hanson, a conservative who has spent a lifetime swimming in a sea of academic liberalism, is very concerned about the year ahead. He’s convinced that the left is almost in panic mode, with regard to the upcoming presidential election, and he believes that they will stop at nothing to keep former President Trump out of the Oval Office. They’ve thrown everything but the kitchen sink at the man…things that would have crippled, if not destroyed most candidates…and Trump has only grown in popularity, as a result.  But nothing is more dangerous than a desperate opponent…and the left is desperate. Welcome to the Tuesday edition of “It’s Another Day with Jim and Bill”. More hostages were released by Hamas yesterday, including a 4-year-old American child. It’s wonderful that she was released but there are still, at least, a dozen Americans being held in those tunnels. What about them? Shouldn’t there be more released? What about the ‘power and might’ of the American government? Shouldn’t those terrorists fear what might happen if they don’t release them? It would appear that they’re not concerned with what the Biden administration might do. They seem to respect strength…something this administration seems to be in short supply of.
