In October of 1981 our debt reached 1 trillion dollars for the first time. We were told that it was unsustainable...we couldn’t service that much debt. Politicians ran to the microphones and feigned outrage and appeared to be appalled. Yesterday we reached the 40 trillion-dollar mark. Again...politicians ran to the microphones and feigned outrage and, once again, they appeared to be appalled. And, once again, they will do NOTHING. It’s what they’re good at...NOTHING. What they don’t tell you is that the entire world is in debt. Debt is the global norm. We’ll never pay it off. If we made a double payment on a daily basis...we could never catch up. The interest alone is killing us. And they know this...and in reality...they just don’t care. Do you see them cutting back on anything? Heck no. We talk about this and more on today’s program.
