Former President Biden spoke at Jesse Jackson’s memorial service and said to those in attendance, that he’s “…a hell of a lot smarter than most of you”. There was a flutter of nervous laughter, then he followed it up with…”no…seriously”. He wasn’t looking for laughs…he was making a statement.
