The plane fell nearly three miles in sixty seconds. The co-pilot stabbed the captain, who was struggling to keep control of the craft, multiple times. The tail rudder, need to steer the aircraft, snapped off due to the ‘over speed’ caused by the rapid descent. It was a scenario made for a disaster movie. The outcome, one would think, should have ended in total disaster. But it didn’t. Due to the bravery of the badly injured pilot and courageous passengers, the co-pilot was subdued and the plane was saved.
