Today's media can't seem to focus on one important story anymore. Monday’s ‘Breaking News’ is forgotten by Tuesday and so on, and so on. They go through the news like used Kleenex. There are no ‘major stories’ anymore. They’re all thrown ‘out there’ and forgotten before the ink dries. So, what’s the result? An uninformed populace. Ask a neighbor about an important story. Either they know a piece of the story...or nothing at all. And when the public is ill-informed, they are easily manipulated. Information is power...people without information are powerless.
