Trump asked five ‘allies’ to help secure the Strait of Hormuz’. He called more of a ‘clean up action’. It was an opportunity for these countries to show their allegiance and support. Their response was less than enthusiastic. For decades, in many cases, we gave our total support to these ‘friends’. We built bases and sent troops to protect their land…we stormed beaches and shed blood for their freedoms…we were there for them. But when we ask them for a little help…they’re no where to be found. How did President Trump respond? In typical Trump fashion…“we won’t forget”. And people who know this man will tell you that his response was not a figure of speech. He meant it.
