Trump says that we’re close to ‘a deal’ with Iran… but does it achieve all of our initial objectives or have we caved? And will the regime still be in place when the dust settles on this conflict. If they are, then how can we consider that ‘a win’. Won’t they just lick their wounds, reconstitute and come back stronger and more determined? Then again…might this ‘proposal’ be a ruse on the part of the President? Might he already know that they won’t accept it and it’s a stepping stone towards a more aggressive confrontation that ultimately destroys ‘the bad guys’?
