As predicted…the peace talks went nowhere. It was 21 hours of Iranian nonsense. So what’s going to happen now? Well…the US is about to blockade the Iranian ports. We’re about to place a strangle hold on the Iranian economy. The financial life blood of this regime is about to be cut off. Will this be the the thing that brings the Iranian protesters back into the streets. Time will tell. Plus…did you hear about the shooting at the Chick-fil-A in Union New Jersey. Sounds like it was a terrorist attack yet the mainstream media seems to be avoiding the story. Why? Well…we talk about it. It’s a busy program. The peace talks have begun in Islamabad and the Iranians have already thrown a curve ball. They’re demanding reparations for the damage already done and they want Hezbollah recognized and for all bombing in Lebanon to stop. Mind you…this is from a country that is losing the war…big time. Has the cease fire already been broken? Has Iran has already closed the Strait of Hormuz? Iran says that Israel’s bombing of Lebanon is a violation. We say that Lebanon is not part of the agreement. And how many separate and independent factions are there in Iran. Can one entity actually negotiate an all-encompassing cease fire? Trump agreed to a two week cease fire-the media is already misrepresenting the terms of the agreement. Are they actually wishing for an Iranian victory? Is it more important to them that Trump fail as opposed to the Iranian people securing their freedom? It sure seems that way. We have to remember that this is just a two week moratorium. If something more substantive is not reached during that two week period…or if they break the cease fire terms before the two week period ends, hostilities will resume…with devastating consequences. We’re just hours away from Trump’s Iranian deadline and the last word is that they rejected the offer and countered with a list of ten demands that would only be proposed by a victor…and they’re not. We truly had an Easter miracle. Our two downed pilots were rescued, from behind enemy lines, in one of the most strategic and well planned operations in military history. Years of training for just such an event paid off big time. Now we deal with another, more serious problem…the 8 pm Tuesday ultimatum. And our president doesn’t seem to be kidding around. The media was aflutter with stories about the F-15E airplane yesterday. But in the first Iraq war, we had lost over 40 planes during the same length of time.  Which leads to the question, are they going to be this way about every loss during this war? Don’t they understand that this is war and, as terrible as it may be, casualties are a devastating but expected byproduct of the process? It’s a busy Easter weekend. Pam Bondi is no longer AG but she hasn’t been fired. The administration said that she is transitioning to another very important position. Will she end up representing the President in the private sector?  Maybe she’ll take a position at Fox. There’s a lot of speculation. And who’s going to be the new AG. It was a short but relatively effect Presidential Address last night. President Trump explained how we got into the Iranian War…where we are now and then he talked of our goals. It wasn’t a long, meandering explanation. He was uncharacteristically succinct and to the point. He even referenced our NATO allies…though not directly. When he was finished, it was very clear that he’s not happy with NATO and that he might be withdrawing from that organization.
